Thanx for NIGHTREAPER! An OK single with piss poor production value unfortunately, their demo tracks were better imo. B-side for some strange reason brought to my mind the mighty ADRAMELCH!

JESS and NIGHTREAPER downloaded, played & enjoyed. Thanx! Great A-sides, but the flips were a bit of a letdown to be honest.

I've never been HUGE on the French Metal scene so a lot of this stuff is unknown to me.

I'm not going to turn this thread into a debate but for starters which of these bands have english vocals?

Yes, the LEGEND live-tape is great. I also have a demo from another french band called LEGEND (this one is from"Bretagne"). It contains 3 tracks and was released in 1983 or 1984.

I'd love to hear more Legend material, so whoever has it, please post it!

Masked Raiders and Death's Angels have English lyrics, and I thought they were damn good.

Masked Raiders were an english band with some guys from punk band Peter & the Test Tubes Babies, never knew why everybody thinks it's a french band (yes I know they were on a french label) !

Some really great stuff uploaded..Legend and H and H probably being my two favorites. Very good melodic, but ballsy, metal and distinctly French. Notre-Dame Estelle Dorves was different but I'm liking it more and more..the cover matches with the music perfectly somehow. Still have to listen to Nightreaper and Tokyo more but they seem quite above average(especially "Heroes Die Young"). Thank You.

Well waddayano'.. Cheers for the info.

Any NWOBHMists have a clue how rare/in-demand the MR 7" might be?

The Masked Raiders 7" is the most common one around. Almost no demand/rare. Maximum price should be 15 € for it or less.

This Tokyo, good music... but let down by a little annoying vocals. Legend is really great epic HM. The 7" did not disappoint having only previously heard the '87 demo. Thanks for those 2. And H and H rule. I will never forget hearing it for the first time in Pedro Anthares living room, drinking whiskey, with Herr Nabel also, being dazzled by their metal hymns.
