I had this 7 inch.Thank you.Quite average single.I think that this topic should be renamed as FRENCH STEEL or something like that.I uploaded ASTAROTH 1986 7"EP.Song "Anges Ou Démons" (french lyrics) is outstanding metal anthem! Second song "Knocking At Your Back Door" sung in english and is a bit different and average,but still have some interesing moments.maybe sound quality not the best,but its great single anyway...

H AND H
Class A melodic/Epic Metal. One of the finest French 7"s ever made and a definite must-buy. A box of them appeared a few years ago so affordable copies might still turn up.

NOTRE-DAME ESTELLE DORVÉS
Very unique. Imagine a mix of SHELDER and LUST, but softer and even more melancholic. I really love this one, though it might not be for everyone.

..plus these 2 I haven't seen internetized before:

HOTCHKISS
Pure "nwobhm" Krunch! No immortal classics, but I dig the rawness and the vocals are cool as hell. Probably the rarest item in this pack.

MASKED RAIDERS
I'm not quite sure which year this was recorded/released (it's not featured on that french 7"-site). MA says '83, but in my ears it sounds like it should be a few years later. Solid, raw HM with glimpses of greatness. Would love to hear their LP.

NOTRE-DAME ESTELLE DORVÉS was a very nice one, didn't expect it to be that good. The Lust comparison is the best i can think of as well, although NDED are not as heavy and surely less epic than them. A very charming catchy chorus on b-side.

HOTCHKISS: Good solid nwobhm-influenced metal, quite heavy, not bad at all.

Hope shreut uploads the NIGHTREAPER and the DANGER ZONE 7"s!

Whatta hell? Two demos? Thought they only had one demo! Which is fucken best stuff from France! Upload them of course!! Cant wait!!

Legend had only one real demo and one live tape. The live one is great because their keyboard player couldn't play (he was making his "military service", don't know if it's correct in english ?) so their tracks are a bit heavier. I think both are available on thrashmageddon.

Nightreaper and Danger Zone are coming soon. Danger Zone could have been a fantastic 7'' but the singer's accent is absolutely awful, he ruins everything (to my point of view).

Great uploads, Shreut! I had them since before, from your blog, but those 4 are definitely among the better French 7"s around. Do you have any of those I listed here? At least I don't think they've been uploaded on your blog.

Edit: I'd say BARBED WIRE, RHESUS, HEAVEN, PARADOXE, JESS, FURIA and WKRX (2nd) are on the top of my need-to-hear list.

Furia have a great track but side B is crap, it's not even pop music. I don't think I have decent rips of Barbed Wire, Rhesus and Heaven (I've never heard this one).
