In combination with the music they produced, not to mention the size of the coffin they chose to pose by on the backcover, a rather eerie name I would think! Evokes images indeed and the relative non-seriousness of this illness actually helps. Robert Anthrax, Robert Aids, Robert Plague, Robert Leprocy, Robert BlackDeath now those are silly names. Robert Measles may be silly too - but with a twist.Ernest Thesiger wrote:How about some silly musicians' names?
Robert Measles of Black Hole
As for silly names check out Janne Stark's encyclopedias for anglo-saxon pseudonyms. The P.Kramer, S.Tate, M.Norton and P.Ferry given song writing credits on the Lion's Share single are hillarious from (at least) a Swedish point of view...

It's only a question of time, when there will be a band named DRAGONFALL, I guess.

No idea, I've never heard nor have any incentive to ever listen to these cookie-cutter, all for a buck bands.Korgüll wrote:Surely they would also sound like Rhapsody clones too right?
After having read Kuntz post, I was just randomly looking for bands with any variation of the words "Hammer", "Dragon", "Fall" and "Force" in the name.

and 'Power And Wild' is great, just doesn't make sense reallyErnest Thesiger wrote:Those are brilliant. Not only that, their name's rhyming slang for urination. And they had a Just Plain Silly song title - "Love and Rub".The Erlking wrote:Nothing even comes close to the stupid stage names of Japanese band Witch's Kiss
Why are a wise man & a wise guy opposites?
