If I recall correctly SPERMA were more punk than anything but yeah pretty funny name. I think they had female vocalist even.

In combination with the music they produced, not to mention the size of the coffin they chose to pose by on the backcover, a rather eerie name I would think! Robert Measles may be silly too - but with a twist.

As for silly names check out Janne Stark's encyclopedias for anglo-saxon pseudonyms. The P.Kramer, S.Tate, M.Norton and P.Ferry given song writing credits on the Lion's Share single are hillarious from (at least) a Swedish point of view...

I have the ultimate nightmare band name for you.

It's a russian band and they play Symphonic Power Metal :x

And they shall be called...HAMMERFORCE !!

It's only a question of time, when there will be a band named DRAGONFALL, I guess.

No idea, I've never heard nor have any incentive to ever listen to these cookie-cutter, all for a buck bands.

After having read Kuntz post, I was just randomly looking for bands with any variation of the words "Hammer", "Dragon", "Fall" and "Force" in the name.
