Here's another one GENOCIDE (USA-Michigan), featuring some REPULSION members. They released a couple of demos round 1985.

I received that one yesterday. WOW, it's completely rotten to the core. A rehearsal all the way, rawer then raw, no fairytale stories on this one but pure flesh ripping, face grinding EXTREMELY raw savage death/thrash. PERFECT!!!!!!!

i can upload that necropolis demo "death metal" if still needed. its not that great though, certainly not on par with other stuff like archenemy, massacre, etc

one cool band that i never see mentioned is necromansy (us):

http://www.metal-archives.com/band.php?id=22343

i think they did three demos, but m-a only lists two...t he other i have contains the same tracks as the second one, but it sounds like a different mix, possibly different recording, hard ot tell even listening to the tracks back to back and comparing. either way, killer shit, might be more on the thrash end of the spectrum, but rules regardless

re: sindrome, i like their first demo a lot, but never got into the second one for some reason. devastation (chicago one of course) were way cooler imo

I like the second demo lots, especially "Against Infinity". Exceptional thrash.

From NECROMANSY, I Know two demos (the first one and "Cremation") both released in 1986 and a rehearsal tape.

terminal death were killer

in fact, it pretty much goes without saying that almost any band with the name "________ Death" are going to rule

Terminal Death could be in the stupid name thread. It might sound cool but what the hell is supposed to mean?

i'd imagine its more in reference to the fact that death is inevitable, like a terminal illness or something, not dying in an airport terminal

it is a dumb name, but even in the subset of bands with "_____ death" names there are dumber (necrodeath)

What I mean is that death is terminal by definition, is pretty much like saying painful pain or something like that. Still Necrodeath is way more stupid, but those name still sound cool, more for guys like me who can take our distance from the meaning and just appreciate the form and the sound.
