The Metal-imprint of the huge, German label/distributor ZYX Music, mostly known for more dance-oriented material (think a more commercial SPV) whose history goes all the way back to 1971. The ZYX Metal sublabel saw the light of day in the early 1984.

Before it became a "real" sublabel, ZYX merely distributed other bands and labels with the logo above attached as a sticker on the sleeves of the original pressings. Obviously none of these releases are included here. After a few years of silence in the mid-80's they re-emerged in the late 80's as ZYX Metallic, only to be scrapped again before the end of the decade. According to well-informed sources, their Steel was not very True at all.
