Super rare & obscure demo here by unknown New Jersey band DEPT OF CORRUPTION, who only released this one demo tape in 1987 called "Poverty Stricken". They played a brand of Crossover thrash with some very tight & quite technical prowess. The vocals remind me of fellow NJ'ers WHIPLASH (especially on their first LP Power & Pain), sort of angry Screaming vocals. There's NOTHING to be found online about this band (well, i couldn't find anything noteworthy anyway), so they must've come & gone really quickly. 5 tracks in just over 12 minutes. Ripped, restored & mastered from a 28 year old cassette tape :

Appreciate the shares malegys, can't believe how little people bother to comment on the uploads here recently.

That's what I thought as well. The other circulating rip sounds a bit better IMO. Nice shrieky vox on this one.rumblefist wrote:Probably you have this bad tagged....

I comment when I download content that's new to me or of better quality then i currently have. I can't speak for others but at least it's not the trashmagaydon model.bigfootkit wrote:Appreciate the shares malegys, can't believe how little people bother to comment on the uploads here recently.
Always appreciate malegys' contributions. Toying with the mastering takes quite a bit of time and effort.
