Demos are from 1988, 1989, 1991 and 1992, here's a short summary I've gotten from their bass player, James Maloney:
DEMO 1988:
songs 1-2: recorded after 2 weeks of being together
songs 3-4: recorded a few months later and released with the first 2 songs
DEMO 1989:
songs 5-7: second demo. Song 5 is actually 2 songs, it just came out as one on the CD.
DEMO 1991:
songs 8-10: third demo. This is when we started to discover our sound. This is my favorite.
DEMO 1992:
songs 11-13: long story short - this is what happened to us when we worked with a producer after Metallica's black album came out and we were not paying for the demo!
----------------
It's hard to believe that the fourth demo came from the same band, although I still do like it. the 1989 and 1991 demos are great, well, at least in my opinion
