ORACLE (UK) - S/T LP 1989

Post by ION BRITTON »

Excellent melodic metal LP. The band is from Great Britain, the album however was released only in Spain by the unknown label Cambaya!

Thanks a lot! This one is supposed to be really rare, right? I have been curious about them for a couple of years now...

Well, it doesn't reach the Paradoxx Lp prices, but, yes, it is rare.

Great melodic heavy metal, the B-side is the real treatment.

Ok, a rare one from Gibraltar of all places.

This is melodic rock/metal with a good vocalist, good melodies and great solos. All tracks may not be 'instant hits' but even the weakest ones have some good moments so I'd say give each song a proper chance as I think this one's a grower. Enjoy.

I own the split bootleg CD and I haven't listened to it in ages.

This is a good reminder that I should give this a listen sometime this week.

To be honest I can't remember much from this one.

It's a really good album which used to go unnoticed. If you're on the lookout it should still be possible to score this without spending too much. To me, Killer Queen is the one standing out, but the overall quality is really good.

I believe they were from Gibraltar and that's why the album was released in Spain.
I know I ain't doing much,
doing nothing means a lot to me.

I used to have an old friend (nearly 60 years old) & he lived in Gibraltar for some years & knew those guys.I ended up with 20 copies of this LP. Only have one copy left for myself now. It's not bad & is kinda wanted on the fringe of NWOBHM collectors because of the English/Gibraltar connection.
