SMITHWORKS (US) - Covered In Blood LP 1986

Post by ION BRITTON »

This is the only album that Smithworks released. The sound quality of my rip is not flawless, but this might be your last chance to hear this much sought-after rarity. Not as metal as you imagine, this LP actually has very few good moments which are not able to justify its high price. Listen to it and decide for yourself.

Ex Danger - Tyrant Into The West has alternate cover art that's exactly the same as this album. Either way, I've never heard this before, so I'll give it a shot.

Thanks.

Thanks a lot man, appreciate it!

Edit: Oh dear, not what i expected. Boring hard rock, "Pray" is a nice ballad though, but that's about it.

??????? Why anyone would want this is beyond me...

I'd never heard of this before so thanks, though there's no reason I should have heard about it, since it has nothing to do with metal really...

Check out the cover, and read the title. That gives some people enough reason to believe it's a cult heavy metal record.

But it is what people above mentioned. Standard, often boring, rock with some metallic moments. The guitar intro solo to the first song sounds lifted from elsewhere too.

Exactly, that's why some uploads are useful. To realize that some rare records are simply not worth owning.
