Yesterday I was staring at the awesome, godly artwork that adorns BROCAS HELM- 'Black Death'. I think it's safe to say most of us here would agree this is a true metal genre classic with artwork that is practically iconic among fans of epic 80s metal. Well, my wife happened to walk by and look down at the record cover. She pondered it for a minute and then said, "It looks like Skelator Meets Harry Potter" and then walked off. I wasn't sure whether to laugh, cry, or file for divorce!
What can i say? She's a wonderful woman who allows her hubby to buy all kinds of Heavy Meal records and I love her greatly, but her steel is not tr00

Ha, that sounds exactly like what my wife usually says about my records. Also, when playing an album with falsetto vocals on it (any album from the 80's will probably do), she usually notes that the singer "seems to have a tummy ache".
Is it just me, or does anybody else assume nightsblood's copy of Black Death has glasses drawn onto the skull on the frontcover?

With that logic you could argue a female voice's higher pitch is due to vaginal bleeding.
At least my woman has the courtesy never to comment on the music I listen to unless it's from some musical-theoretical standpoint she knows I won't understand anyway.
She is a tuning fascist though. She once asked me to turn off a Doomsword cd because a church bell effect was a semitone off pitch and it was getting on her nerves.
