Prowler (UK) needs to be reissued!

Post by Khnud »

Just been listening to the awesome demos this band released during the mid 80's. How come these haven't been released properly on e.g. High Roller, BBTAD, Shadow Kingdom or any other newer label with nwobhm-reissues under their belt?

The world needs them on vinyl! "Metal Fatigue" has to be one of the best songs to come out of Britain, ever.

Does anyone have any info on this? Has it been tried, and failed? Or are there other circumstances?

(the second purpose of this thread is to discuss the greatness of this band)

Nothing special IMO. It's other stuff that needs to be reissued before Prowler...

I like both the singles, am not familiar with the demo material.

Dunno... Most everyone will have something they think simply must be reissued. Personally I'd rather see the crazy priced full-length rarities I don't yet own  go first instead of 7"s or demos.

"Alcatraz" EP is killer, but the rest of their material sounds more amateurish. Especially the first 7" is quite crappy for a 100 $ record.
