What was 1st ever feature of now legendary band?
Ok, another useles thread to kill time? Hope not. I thought it would be cool to find out the 1st ever feature of now famous band. And no gossips or wild guesses please. And no bands that no-one cares about, only legends accepted here.
Want a sample what I mean?
Mayhem (Nor) very first media exposure was Slayer mag #2/3 in 1986.
Mantas (USA) very first appearance in metal press was Guillotine #2 in 1984.
So would be cool to know some more: Metallica, Venom, Hellhammer, Slayer, Bathory, Morbid Angel, Darkthrone (no Black Death), Beherit ( or Pseudo Christ or Horny Malformity).

I could personally care less about half of those bands listed there.

"Limited" tag was added because 99.9% people are not maybe interested when was Deathchamber or Acrid (Ger) 1st appearnce in UG magazine. Otherwise here would be million bands here. So I listed some samples what kind of bands interest me and what kind of bands would fit here. You can add Voi Vod if you know their background.
It is not necessaery to take everything as absolute. In this forum are also MANY threads I do not like but I leave those who care.

True. Maybe because this band is barely audible ^^

Hellhammer - maybe Metal Forces #2 (late 1983/early 1984)? It was "Triumph of Death" review there.
Or should be also pen friend section from Kerrang #43 (June 1983, at the time of recording "Triumph of Death") added/counted because Satanic Slaughter was searching for witches and mentioned he is playing in infernal trio Hellhammer?
Darkthrone - maybe Cascade #1 (1988)? At that time they were 2 months under Darkthrone monicker.

I don't know when/where Blasphemy were first mentioned but I like the way you can read all the interviews on their site.

Most metal bands don't have this amount of interviews on their sites. I imagine it must be painful trying to track down the early interviews/reviews for a lot of the older bands.
