Deliverance

Post by Marken »

I have heard of this band since the early 90's, but never bothered checking them out until now. Well, better late than never.

I bought the debut and Weapons Of Our Warfare yesterday, and holy shit, this is some great thrash/power metal. Both albums blew me away.
Awesome vocals, great riffing and catchy melodies.

Are some of the other albums worth checking out?

The band are playing in Oslo late october. Do they still deliever live?

Strange...no one likes/dislikes Deliverance here?

I keep on spinning the first two and they are both killer. Horrible lyrics, but that really doesn't matter. The music is what matters to these ears.

I can't speak for their later albums but don't bother with their third, What A Joke. Instead you should try to get the California Metal compilation (or one of the recent Deliverance compilations that includes those 2 tracks.)

I got the rereleases of the the first two and those songs are bonustracks on the debut. Especially "Attack" is great.
