Yeah, I used to want to own this original, but after repeated listens I decided it's pretty lame - the melodies do nothing for me.

I have to admit that the A-side is soooo much stronger than the B-side. Somehow that intro that starts the B side completely destroys the magical feeling for me. But overall I'm glad I got a copy of this one.

Thanks Omen for sharing :D

Thank you very much!

I had already listened to most of this album's songs, but I can't still make up my mind whether the band plays wonderful and catchy melodic metal, or they are just wimpy.

Probably the fist choice!

The first choice. I've probably stated this a 100 times now but it still holds true: "Final Warning" is the greatest Melodic Metal album of all time. Period. Daniel needs to get back on his meds :P

I'm gonna back daniel, totally wimpy material on this one IMO.

That's crazy-talk!
I really think this album is a textbook example of how Metal can be VERY melodic without feeling the least bit wimpy. There's absolutely zero (0) radio-DJ-cum-burps about their melodies - just pure melancholy gold.

Hehe. I'd say 'Heroes, Saints and Fools' is the greatest melodic metal one, well I can't think of many other candidates presently... ?

I can understand why not everyone likes it, but i think this is a classic, very catchy and with the right kind of atmosphere to it.

"Where are you" even sounds like a BEATLES-song, but i can still enjoy it. Weird!
Where were you in '79 when the dam began to burst

At least we all agree 'Heros Saints and Fools' deserves high praise :)

 I don't need to know anything about your sheep-fondling habits Dan! No record is so good or bad that it should invoke the molesting of livestock! :)
