Heavy Metal Magic

Post by Rock Beast »

So, whats your ultimate 'Heavy Metal Magic' mix-tape?
Doesnt necessarily have to be the "ultimate" mix-tape though.
But give me some great ones, at least!

Still working out mine, by the way.

I'm making one right now for the pub where me and my friends will spend new years eve (we rented almost the entire hotel so the pub will be almost exclusively ours).

Given that there will be girlfriends/wives and some not-so-avid-metalheads it will consist mostly of popular bands everyone is familiar with - plenty of Judas, Maiden, Dio, Manowar, WASP, etc. But there will be some selected "goodies" here and there too.

Well, yeah, of chourse. The tracks doesnt necessarily have to be "obscure" or whatever, hehe. My most ultimate mix tape would probably be dominated by the four first Black Sabbath, so..

And the party spirit would probably die a bit among people like my own girlfriend and mother if I put on "Land of Mystery" or "888 Metal" at new years eve, haha. Even if that would be the perfect celebration, personally.

I'm not sure there's such a thing as a perfect mix tape but I made one recently for some friends based on MP3 downloads I had sitting around on my computer.
01. DESOLATION ANGELS (UK) - Evil Possesser
02. TYRANT (USA) - Hold Back The Lightning
03. STORMWITCH (GER) - Sword of Sagon
04. 220 VOLT (SWE) - Touch of Fire
05. HOLOCAUST (UK) - Heavy Metal Mania
06. WITCHKILLER (CAN) - Riders of Room
07. BLACK DEATH (USA) - Taken By Force
08. WITCH CROSS (DAN) - Alien Savage
09. OZ (FIN) - Fire In The Brain
10. WARNING (SWE) - Swords & Sorcery
11. VIRTUE (UK) - We Stand To Fight
12. POKOLGÉP (HUN) - Pokolgép
13. HEAVY LOAD (SWE) - Saturday Night
14. SCHELL SHOCK (UK) - Steel Breeze
Not many "curve balls" but I get a lot of mileage out of it.
