"Rock Duro y Pesado" tape compilation 1985 (Chile)

Post by Destrozer »

Here is something quite unknown, I think. None of the bands can be found at Metal Archives; how about that?
It's not the best compilation, but what the hell, some tracks are pretty good. Enjoy!

01.La historia (Panchorrata)
02.Me canse de ti (Panchorrata)
03.Holocausto (Ekkos)
04.La paloma (Electroshock)
05.Mentiras (Armamento Pesado)
06.Posesion (Armamento Pesado)
07.Rock de la paz (Electroshock)
08.Esperando el amanecer (Electroshock)
09.Me canse de gritar (Panchorrata)
10.Tiempos criticos (Ekkos)

WOW, I never knew this compilation existed until now!!!!!!!, I'll download it and ask to older guys to see if they have any more information.

In a music store I found some time ago also a chilean tape of rock/metal and didn't knew any band, but only the cover was there, 'cause the tape was lost, I took a picture of it, I'll post it here when I found it.

Again, Thanks!

I liked a lot the compilation, but the best song, in my opinion, is TIEMPOS CRÍTICOS of EKKOS, also the beginning of the song ME CANSÉ DE TI remembered me a lot to Hit and Run of Satanic Rites.
Please if you have any other chilean compilation, try to upload it, I'll search and upload the ones I have.
By the way, here's the compilation that I found only the cover, I took some photos with my cellphone, if someone have more info please post it here: http://rapidshare.com/files/280651297/ROCKGION.rar

Well, I've contacted Francisco from Panchorrata and they are still active, and have released A LOT of stuff.
He sended me this song, from the FOURTH ALBUM, released in 2000. It's just amazing how a band can still do music like this, and with that amazing sound! (the rip is not the best, but still I love the production).

Comments anyone?

that song is from 2000? Amazing! really oldstyle sound, too bad the rip makes it painful to listen to. You should find out about these 4 albums, I think they must be well worth spreading to a larger audience.
