HOROSKOPAS / PILIGRIMAS / RAMYBES SKVERAS (Early Lithuanian HR/HM bands)

OK.Here some obscure bands from my native country.I had some free time so uploaded these recordings.Do not expect something ultra groundbreaking. It's just legacy of ripped tapes of Hard Rock/Early Metal from Lithuanian scene circa 87/88.First band is called HOROSKOPAS.This band started back in 1984/5 and these songs comes from 1988 recordings.Band played a lot of local gigs with KATEDRA,PILIGRIMAS or TIGRO METAI.Female fronted Hard'n'Heavy with some keyboard/bluesy parts. Also if I remember correct band used drum machine.

Third band is RAMYBES SKVERAS from small province town.Formed around 1982/83.Songs comes from 1987 recording session. As many other bands from this period RS used Keyboards.Music is more Hard Rock oriented with few good early Heavy Metal sounding songs.By the way song "Gryžulo ratai" reached 10th place in National music awards back in 1987.

Uploaded HOROSKOPAS song "Išvarymas iš Rojaus/Adomai būki žmogumi" (Banished From Heaven) from 1988 not included in previous recording :

Horoskopas

I wish they sounded like this song all the time!!! Excellent Heavy/Speed metal track.

Been checking these out the last week. PILIGRIMAS was the real treat here. "NWOBHM influenced Heavy Metal/Hard Rock... primitive but catchy song writing" = dead-on description, and one of my fave styles so Thank You!

HOROSKOPAS and RAMYBĖS SKVERAS had a few cool moments, and the unconventional vocals and keyboards + poppy parts made them if not great then at least "special". VERY Eastern-block sounding, but nothing special in a Metal-way.

TIGRO METAI I just couldn't handle, sorry. I'm 100% allergic to this brand of non-aggressive hard rock.

Bah! Civilization is overrated...
PILIGRIMAS on the other hand are quite the opposite. Killer song, more Maiden-influenced than the tape. You don't happen to have this track on mp3?
