Looking forward to hearing this tonight! About the featured recordings, are they taken directly from demos or are they exclusive to this tape?

Most are taken from demos you would never know exist (or would never hear anyway). The Raging Grace, Lethal conception, Maddoxx, and Centurion tracks are not any other releases that there is ever a hope of finding. Sinister, Mutant Soldier, Synastryche, and Paralyser are way obscure and the chances of finding thier shit is next to none anyway (i dont even have the original tapes). The only songs on another release you could actually hope to get anywhere else are Nightcrawler, Severe Warning, and The Spudmonsters.

Looks interesting.
These are all Cleve area bands, correct?
What year was the tape made in?

couldn't tell you. Not sure why sharing stuff out surprises you when it gets traded around? that is how tape trading works.

Yeah, music is to be heard.

Otherwise it would fade into obscurity and minus the band that made it a whole ten people would ever listen to the material.

Its just that Chris Stolle doesnt want that stuff all over the place. He hardly wanted to talk about it when I contacted him in 2005. If its the 2 song demo then its ok because both those songs are on "Convicted" anyway, but if its the 1990 demo that would be fucked up...

It's a shame Paralyser didn't do more. I enjoy the out of control aspect of their track although I guess if they were to do an LP they'd have gotten a rudder on things. Still, the vocalist is quite unique!

Also, Sinister are pretty fucking awesome. Like a lost Omen track with a different sort of vocalist, constant barrage. Very enjoyable. I will hunt those two demos.

Sinister is awesome. The singer went on to join MYSTIK. I can upload them if Ion Britton doesnt. Great fucking band. I have a review for the first demo with a picture of the front cover art, and some assorted concert flyers and random Sinister stuff I can scan too if you guys want. Korgull owns an original 1989 demo. Fucking killer!

Paralyser is a very fun band. Someone on Miskatonic uploaded the demo a while ago. I dont own it. Great riffing and just a fun demo all together. The singer reminds of a very sarcastic and not-serious SOLAR EAGLE at times. :D The drummer went on to play for TERROR on some rehearsals before murdering his whole family and killing himself via shotgun, and leaving all the bodies for his 8 year old son to find when he came home from school that day. Fucked up stuff...
