Lester Maddox if i am not mistaken was some redneck American so probably Lester Maddox band had some nationalist/Nazism lyrics.

Had to protect the good name of one of my favourite American Metal albums. I have no clue what those lyrics mean, but they hardly tie in with "racial purity" or other such bullshit.

that's good but still an odd title . I love that record. One day I will grap one of that LPs. Honestly I can't see why people often describe it as a mediocre hard rock album

Is it me or was this rip made with a recordplayer that doesn't have a steady speed? Or was the record made with out of tune guitars?

I haven't listened to this rip, but I can compare with my own when I come home. Shouldn't be any out-of-tuned guitars on it as far as I remember. Another case of DCS (DislocatedCenterholeSyndrome) maybe?

It's only during the first song, maybe it's a warp in the vinyl. Or maybe I'm just hearing things that aren't really there.
Shit, I'm totally changing my opinion on this album. Two weeks ago I heard one or two songs for the first time and I didn't like it. Then I saw people raving about it in this thread, I downloaded it and I'm hooked!!!

Unfortunately not. "Burning the world live" is just mediocre hard rock with none of the eeriness & originality of "Gothic Lore" left.
