Quite stranger very dark but not as fast as I thought, reminiscent of Venoms Black metal sound with certain thrash elements. I realy like it, and I highly reccomended.

Yeah..this Occult was nice surprise to find here. I heard rumour that Dan Lilker played in that band/project. Neverthless, its not true. I asked about it from Dan and he only knew Dutch Occult.
Next band in the same cathegory is Hellish Torment (ca 1985/86).

I was blown away when I first listened to this, it it the escense of evil!!! the voice of Occult's singer is hellish shriek!!!

Thanks I'll look for it!!! According to metal archives it was a one man band, and later it was renamed into Hellhouse.

There must be at least 2 bands with Hellhouse name...one is kind of ordinary thrash metal, another is satanic noise. Few years ago was Hellhouse "Burn for peace" EP released... chaotic deathnoise!

Edit: sorry confused Hellhound with Hellhouse. Hellhound is ordinary thrash metal band.

Omen of Hate: are you sure you uploaded right demo? My Occult (USA) 2 track demo with same tracklisting is completely different!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe you uploaded wrong demo? 2nd track is 20 second long in my case! Or maybe I have wrong stuff under Occult name?

I've checked and it's the correct demo, rather strange.

I've a HELLHOUSE rehearsal/demo tape somewhere, it's pretty insane fast stuff.

It seems that this Occult demo is also re-released as split EP Agathocles/Occult last year. Placed and order today.
