Jurassic Jade
Jurassic Jade
Here are the first two albums by the japanese thrashers "Jurassic Jade". Really good stuff. "Gore" reminds me a bit of early EvilDead stuff. Panic Anxiety is killer!!

Yes they're great. Chaos queen Hizumi is by far the best female singer in extreme metal I've heard. Puts stuff like Arch Enemy in shame (and at least in my books they suck anyway). I think there are some other JJ stuff uploaded here that you should check out. At least that super rare demo tape!

I have the 7" and the War By Proxy 12"ep, which in thier own right are rare. Well it seems as of lately alot of the 7"s have been popping up, so maybe the 7" isn't as rare as I thought. As for the Gore lp it keeps alluding me, and is the oen I've seen the least, so I think it's the rarest of thier discography. The Knell wrote:How rare are the LPs by the way? I only have the cradles song 7" of JJ and would like to get the full lengths too

When I listened to it after you uploaded it at Miskatonic way back I remember I was sceptical if it really was JJ playing. Any chance it might be mislabeled? Anyway, I remembered I liked it a lot more than any JJ stuff I've heard so it would be cool to sort this ? out.doomedplanet wrote:somewhere here I have a demo not mentioned in their discography.

yes it is the same band, as far as I know. I got it from Bob Gamber 15 years ago and in all the stuff I ever got from him back then, he was never wrong. It is labelled the "War by Proxy" demo but maybe it is something else? I'm digging through my cdrs now to find and try to figure it out.

its been a long time since ive been here, but just wanted to confirm that the demotape is real.
I bought an original copy a few years ago and i showed it to members of the band after a gig in Japan. they confirmed that it was the real thing and wondered who i killed to get it.
only a mere 50 copies were put out sometime in 1985.
I'm still not sure why it isnt listed on the discography page.
here is the jacket for it:
