Do Fates Warning shirts exist?

Post by msp »

I was hoping to get one at the London gig last November but there was no merchandise at all.

I've scoured the official site, Ebay and done google searches but to no avail. Perhaps they do not exist or they have none in print at the mo?

I have three Fates Warning shirts - they've always had them when I saw them. I have a grey APSOG shirt, a really cool tan Disconnected shirt, and a black shirt that I think I picked up on the X tour. Actually, it was from that Fates/QR/DT tour, which was before X. I think I saw FW one more time, but I guess I didn't buy a shirt. I have about 300 metal shirts - these days, I pretty much only buy them if the shirt is not black, or if it's a band I really, really like.

Anyway, regarding your actual question, I seem to recall from an interview that FW is locked into some super-awful, incredibly longterm deal with a merch company, and this is why they produce so few shirts.

This probably explains it.

It is always weird going to a concert and there is no merchandise for any of the bands there
