Does anyone have any info on the NWOBHM band Alien that had songs on the Neat compilations "One Take No Dubs" and "All Hell Breaks Loose"?
I've found a couple nwobhm trader sites that have a 1983 demo listed but I can't figure out if it's the same band. Also metal-archives lists the Distrainers to have changed their name briefly to Alien in 1980... Any help here? I love the two comp songs and need more...
ALIEN (UK) pre-distrainers maybe?

Distrainers is a completely different band. They changed their name to Alien only for a short while around 1980-1981 and didn't release any label material.alien laserblast wrote:Does anyone have any info on the NWOBHM band Alien that had songs on the Neat compilations "One Take No Dubs" and "All Hell Breaks Loose"?

I've also heard the band Sacred Alien in connection with the Neat Alien, but I doubt there's any truth to that.
I do know that the singer's called Derek Storey and the guitarist Ron Anderson.
