ALIEN (UK) pre-distrainers maybe?

Post by alien laserblast »

Does anyone have any info on the NWOBHM band Alien that had songs on the Neat compilations "One Take No Dubs" and "All Hell Breaks Loose"?

I've found a couple nwobhm trader sites that have a 1983 demo listed but I can't figure out if it's the same band. Also metal-archives lists the Distrainers to have changed their name briefly to Alien in 1980... Any help here? I love the two comp songs and need more...

Distrainers is a completely different band. They changed their name to Alien only for a short while around 1980-1981 and didn't release any label material.

I've also heard the band Sacred Alien in connection with the Neat Alien, but I doubt there's any truth to that.

I do know that the singer's called Derek Storey and the guitarist Ron Anderson.
