I have a new love for that album since the CD reissue came out. Even the bad production does not bother me that much.Le fjump wrote:SA Slayer - Go for the throat LP
They haven't done a very good job on the cd either, especially on the EP. Even the 2 on 1 bootleg sounded a bit better.Zdan wrote:I have a new love for that album since the CD reissue came out. Even the bad production does not bother me that much.Le fjump wrote:SA Slayer - Go for the throat LP
I think the problem lies in the source available. This is what I heard. I think the CD sounds fine, taking into consideration that the original releases also sounded pretty shoddy. I just like to have this stuff finally available on CD in an official way.ION BRITTON wrote:They haven't done a very good job on the cd either, especially on the EP. I only heard the original vinyls (before the reissue CD) and they sounded better to me so I think you are right. This is weird because their other reissues like Burning Starr, Dammaj or Taist Of Iron sound fine.ION BRITTON wrote:I have the bootleg CD and the Peris rec reissue of the EP. I have heard this material a billion times and I can safely say that they both sound better than the latest reissue. The production on the LP was already weak, they made it sound even worse, unfortunately.
