And you feel the desire to surmise this length conversation that touches on various disparate things, in words that you may or may not believe, why exactly? To whose benefit?

Blog is a good idea. I'd definitely read it! Have you started it yet?

Nope. I have written many reviews in Greek which I plan to translate and upload little by little (I like starting blogs when there's abundance of material before hand) but I don't currently have the time for two blogs. When asides-bsides sorta settles down I'll try to get it going. It'll be named 'Poetry of Subculture'.

Haha, this is the same kind of mentality I have towards this topic and the conversation following in this thread.

I'm sorry, but I listen to metal simply for the love of the music.

I don't associate it with anything truly deep, serious in manner or emotionally complex.

It's not a trend, not something I do to fit in, nor something I do to rebel, be different or find individual identity.

It's about the music.

I'll quote Exodus to end my two-cents with.

"Fists are in the air. Banging everywhere
Thrashing to the sound faces melting down
It's time to fight for metal tonight
Bangers take your stand and obey
Our metal command"

Well it takes all kinds, I certainly can accept you and your love for the music for what it is.
