It might be time to tell a few more....DaN wrote:Ha ha ha... oh wow... First of all thanx to Daniel for sharing this one. I always wanted to hear it since I first heard of it's crapness, mainly to see if it would qualify as a Monumental WORST-of-the-Worst Metal album. Unfortunately it doesn't. Musicwise this is just mediocre rock, sometimes crossing over into HR. "Wreck This House Down" is hilarious though - if I ever do an "Incredibly Strange Metal vol. 2" comp that one's a strong contender...
It definitely has "outsider music"-qualities, but even in that genre it's still a mediocrity. My 1-sentence review: A bit like Dwarr, minus EVERYTHING that made Dwarr cool.
I remember you telling that story here. A great reminder of one of the greatest threads of the forum....glockose wrote:The singer in this band is a CrossDresser.

The reason that I requested this album, beside to finally find out if it the crown of all crappy metal, was a simple one: I couldn't find it anywhere on the net.
So, look here what's new today on the infamous Bounded by Metal blog:

And yes, it is daniel's rip. I listened to the first seconds of the first song, the sound quality is the same, and more importantly, the surface noise is exactly the same.

Ария make a metalhead want to speak Russian!
Yeah that sort of stuff happens a lot(of course I don't just mean my stuff hah). When I did X-Caliber it turned up on the Strappado blog, and it got me wondering who it is that does that site, it kind of pissed me off cos I saw he receives donations and states it's so he can buy more rare records to upload, what a fucking bullshitter, and obviously someone who's on this forum!

Agreed. Those stories kept my glued to my monitor back then. I remember not being able to leave my computer screen until each post was read in it's entirety.Keir wrote:Yes, please! I love that thread.
