Searching by "EAN", if the record/CD has it (barcode) also helps a lot (but there are of course albums with same bar codes and cat. numbers that are actually different, for example my two diff. copies of Twisted into Form on Combat, also early Destruction albums on Steamhammer - 1st pressings and reissues ...).

Another another great site I use a lot for the label stuff. It's especially useful for getting cover art. Your nick turns up quite a lot over there.
Compared to M-S it might be bigger, but with less detailed info about the releases and more focused on reviews and ratings.

One thing that bothers me with MS is with the searching system, but I see that it's getting better now, for example it didn't return anything if you typed Infernal Majsety, now at least it returns HIM (his infernal majesty), but still you have to type Infernäl .. to get the right band ... I suppose that's going to fix soon, you probably know better, Knell/Parabellum (as my German is awful and I don't understand 99% of things on forum
).

More M-S complaints: You can search on all info EXCEPT catalogue numbers, which is the most useful for label research

It's growing ! All possible informations can be added. It only has to be done. And it will be done in the future !
What's great about RYM is, that it's really a fun site i think.
There are a lot of Metalheads at RYM, only it could have some more with more Underground knowledge.
The accuracy of information is not that good for the moment, theres a bit a mess with the Genres also and it's a bit annoying to add Labels and Profiles.
But i think RYM will become absolutely fantastic !
