Superb track. It evolved later into "Into the flames" in Too Late Too Pray, a far more savage version of course. Love them both, but that demo version has something magical...

I was very deceived by the unreleased album too
I've yet to hear the unreleased album, how bad is it?

I'm still listening it (and a 7 track Rehearsal also from 1982).
Fortunately both demo and rehearsal (from the masters) will available (as bonus) very soon on a double CD reissue of LOTD/TLTP on a official edition.

I'd say ''Multiples of black" level... It sounds groovy, modern, commercial, nothing to do with the band that released ''Fist held high''

Interesting.. Those demo tracks (alone with 2 more) were included as hidden tracks in the 90s CD reissues of both LOTD/TLTP and they all slay ( the tracks are ''Free for a while"/"Leavin'" - "Heavy steel"/"You don't have to sell your soul"). Never heard that rehearsal, I hope it's worth the wait :)

Yes, it sounds like uninspired grungy hard-rock.

I made a mistake - it will be individual reissues - each one with 1 different thing - 1 with the demo with 4 tracks that you refered ION and the other with 7 REH tracks taped in October of 1982 and also known as "The Mansion Recordings".
These are the 7 tracks REH :
FREE FOR A WHILE
KNIGHT OF DARKNESS
DAY OF DOOM
THROUGH THE NIGHT
HEAVY STEEL
KILL 4 FUN
HER WAYS

Just to compare - it sounds way better (except the vocals which are a bit distant) than the Reh of Blind Assassin...

Yes, it sounds like uninspired grungy hard-rock.
That's too bad.
I wasn't expecting 'Fist Held High II', but it sounds like it misses the mark completely.
I'll probably still need to hear it for myself to satisfy my apparent need for disappointment.
