Thanks. Totally boring. Funny how they are already repeating themselves.

The songtitles are completely misleading. This is not to be accepted, witch hunt ensues!

Unfortunately this is not a popular band in Corroseum...
I knew it before i post it...
And the worst is that the members who like the band won't post positive opinions because they also won't like to be involved in the "witch hunt" ...
As it's goes for me, i respect TOM and i would add that if probably showed up more old sounding bands like this 1 instead of all this death/thrash/black/core senseless, maybe HM today would rise again...
What we have here is a good true classic old sounding band who really sounds genuine instead of these retro bands that use all those digital studio fx and that are now praised by the media as a new revival...mostly those bands don't sound as genuine as TOM...

Perhaps, if those bands would actually print more than 100 copies of their albums. And who knows, maybe those bands will actually play lots of shows too!

I know bands I've not thought much of, but then enjoyed their gigs quite a lot. If I really loved ToM's music I would say so, I don't say anything to get in anyone's good light, but their music is simply average and only gets the attention it does due to their ridiculous tactics - oh they can be online but not too much, reply to some emails but not all, keep acting if there is no interest etc. ...

One thing about ToM on this forum, the whiners rise to the top, haha.

Yeah? And shutting the fuck up in the face of utter bullshit is preferrable?

That is typical human reaction against someone who does it in a different way from all the others...
Why don't you think instead TOM does it this way because they don't like the ways things work today in music business...
I had some expectations after 1st Voltax album...somedays ago i listened their last release and thought to myself "wtf is this ? " Then i went to youtube
and watch some of their studio sessions...There it was the explanation...
Now don't tell me who is and who is not serious in music...

Yeah you should shut your yap more often. You could stand to do that since you come off like an utter ass with your attitude.

You have to read all the previous threads about ToM, there were people who actually defended them with an ''mind your own business, they are great and they do the best they can to spread their music'' kind of answer.

I'd mind my own business about this average band, but I really don't believe they like their music to heard. I just don't bite it. If you knew how people would react here in this unTalesofmedusafriendly forum you should have thought twice before posting their stuff. You don;t expect all people to shut up and remain silent where they are when such attitudes are praised, do you?

Many underground bands sound as genuine as ToM and they share the same problem: their songs are nothing special.
If the revival of heavy metal is based on such bands I won't be holding my breath to witness it, really.

I get the feeling that their fans are also somehow offended by the fact that some of us don't find their music as cool as they do. Negative comments about them have now conveniently turned into 'whining' and positive comments are the only right thing to do. Frankly I don't remember everyone agreeing that this band is unquestionably godly and the only thing left to comment is their distribution practices and their try-hard-to-gain-cult-status attitude.

Rob, to be honest you come of pretty 'elitist' with your mostly very short responses, stated as if unquestionable truths, or how you somehow neglect to respond as if people weren't worthy. You might have been around forever but that doesn't make you right in this case. I'm open about things, and I admit I have a temper, but I no longer try to be an asshole about things for the sake of it, and I certainly don't regret my comments in this thread, nor do I understand wtf your 'whining' comment is about maybe you're the one that's coming off as an ass but people won't say it out of respect or whatever.

Thanks Ion Britton ! At least your opinion is well based and i accept and respect that.
And yes i read the other TOM threads and even knowing there was already bad opinions on them i didn't mind to post this stuff...
I'm sure lots of people already downloaded it ! (so, something is wrong....)

Tales Of Medusa threads tend to be the worst

That EP was a bit of a let down. I hope the next is better
