naaaahh, come on, the girls play it exactly the same,no much difference from the original one and dont get me wrong, i like it...but the 3 guitars used by BOA was too good to be true, plus they made like a unique version, just listen to the chorus

"Born To Be Wild" has to be the most covered-to-death tune in HR/HM history but I must say THE HAND OF DOOM's live version on the recent DLP reissue blew my mind. Wildest, craziest, OTT and BEST version I've ever heard - including the original. Put it on and call me a liar, I dare you!

One of the worst cover songs ever is Master doing Jailbreak.

(And as they play in Finland this week I must ask them to play it. And maybe the could play it as medley with Children Of The Grave.)

I haven't seen these mentioned, some are a little off topic but worth mentioning:

CROWBAR : No Quarter (A stunningly hypnotic monolithicly doomy dirge version of the Zeppelin song)
ENTOMBED : Black Juju ("Bodieeeeeees!!!!", Fantastic reimagining of the ole Alice Cooper track)
PENTAGRAM : Dancing Madly Backwards (On A Sea Of Air) (Pentagram cover Captain Beyond. Need i say more?)
HOOKERS : Tonight I'm Gonna Rock You Tonight (A genius take on the Spinal Tap tune)
ALEX SCOLNICK TRIO : Detroit Rock City (An incredible jazz treatment of the Kiss standard courtesy of Testament's guitarist)
JELLO BIAFRA & THE MELVINS : Halo Of Flies (Another Alice Cooper song, turned inside out by lunatics.)
VOIVOD : Batman Theme (Voivod rule!)

Pretty sure it was a private US release from the late 80s, but I could be wrong. Might have the song wrong too.
Nobody knows this? I remember reading about it in one of Martin Popoff's books but I've skimmed through the Heavy Metal Record Price Guide and the Collector's Guide to Heavy Metal: The 80s and found nothing. Help!

EDIT: I was just informed that it was Barry Philip Etches.
