GHOST (Sweden)

I just browsed via MySpace and by accident found GHOST band from Sweden.That was few months ago and now I see they're signed to Iron Pegasus for 7" EP and Rise Above for Full Length.Well,judging from songs on their MySpace I somehow enjoyed weird combination of 70s Doomy Rock with early Hard Rock/Metal edge.Especially Demo songs.Also this band is real MYSTERY because no members names were given but I think that biger names from scene are involved here somehow.

Haha, this band easily kicks the majority of NWOTHM bands up to the moon and back. Awesome 70s occult inspured mixture of NWOBHM and early Mercyful Fate with totally over the top satanic lyrics.

I dont know why, but I have a feeling this is Watain.

Well, if you know who they are there is no mystery, isn't it? So either share, or don't say anything. I'd rather want to know who they are, and "I know but I wont tell you" is not helping much.

Man, there's too many bands called Ghost already. The seventies one who released "One Second - When You're Dead" ruled, scary prog-rock stuff. Dig this one's tunes, but nowadays really not a good name to go by. Take a look at Metal Archives alone, it's saturated

The KD comparison is only valid on the first song really. There is also a Pink Floyd-ian song which is quite cool.

I'm from Uppsala and heard some rumors that it is repugnant guys, Repugnant consist of Invidious / Degial / In solitude members aswell so It wouldn't suprise me.
