Congratz on MARQUIS, i only saw a copy listed for 800€ once, not overpriced, but i didn't buy it. Let's see if i'll get a chance for a second shot.
Thanks alot!
800 euros is a bargain compared with the last ebay auctions of it. :/

humus wrote:Dirty Rocker, just wondering, how big is your collection? Because every (seldom) time you post here it is some kind of (huge) rarity. Just wondering if you don't post 'normal' finds, or if you concentrate on getting just a few records.
My collection is not very huge. I'm only 20 though and don't have too much money to spend on records/month. Buying more than I can afford most of the time ha ha. My collection is about 200 singles (90% nwobhm and swedish metal singles, mostly rarities) and maybe 300 or so 12'', both rarities and more "usual" stuff.

Edit: But have to admit that last time (a year or two) I have mostly purchased rarer stuff.
damn! you are even younger than me,never imagined that...well you got my respect...a lil bit of envy too :P

A rather large package arrived yesterday. A few non-metal items were bundled with:

Airborne (SE) - In United Kingdom 7'' EP
Venom (UK) - Manitou 12''
Frantic (US) - Conception (gatefold)
Heavy Load (SE) - Death Or Glory (+inner)
Heavy Load (SE) - Stronger Than Evil (+inner + ins)
Oz (FI) - Fire In The Brain
Satan (UK) - Court In The Act (+inner)
Venom (UK) - At War With Satan (gatefold)
Venom (UK) - Possessed (+inner)

I already had "Fire In The Brain" so this is up for trade. I'm still considering whether I should trade the Airborne or not though. I really liked it.

....and another one:

Also congratz to ze knell, for that CONQUEST demo, i don't think it's METALLICA worship though, it belongs more in the HEATHEN'S RAGE/STORMTROOPER-era imo.

Should fit your taste, raw and energetic power metal.

CAPHARNAÜM - same 7"
EXCESS - The Fatal Touch LP
LEATHER NUNN - Take The Night LP
METALIS - same 12"

The Missouri band? Awesome demo, but I don't hear any metallica worship at all. More influnced by Manowar and a bit of early Savatage me thinks.

OK wow I really thought it was pretty spot on Metallica, even the vocals are a bit like post debut Hetfields sans annoyance. Guess I have to clean my ears and have a couple of listenings more
