For Cyclone I'm even more sceptic, because it is known Avanzada closed its doors in 1991, so how the heck this cd is supposed to be a 1992 reissue ?

Then I have wrong infos, because many people (even that mexican guy) said me that Impact was their latest release, right before closing the doors (and that's why it has been printed in very few copies and it's so difficult to find) ... if I'm not wrong the Impact cd was published in 1991 ?

I need time to get into that Bezerker. Unfortunately time is one thing I do not have on my hands right now.

As it is right now I have hard time getting past the Bezerker's vocals. There is something in his timbre which genuinely sets me on edge. I need to listen to it more, perhaps once I get the current batch of releases out of the way and can sit and listen to it without doing anything else...

Anyhow, even if I don't get into it, I'm sure there will be other labels interested in picking it up.

Please don't misunderstand me, as I am not promoting cheap shity cutted / drilled plastic rubbish here, as I am only talking about it cuz sometimes, ppl were unaware of thier existance. Even a promo cd with drill / cut-out / pinole is as good as a roll of toliet paper to me, cuz nowadays, you have mp3s helping you to decide whether or not you love the music . (And that's why I don't get the auction dude discussed before, who buys cds first to listen, and sell them if he doesn't like the music. Are those cds he bought super rare and cult, even mp3s are not avilable?) Besides, you don't get any actual values for these cheap copies. So, if I like the music and don't want to spend too much on these originals, I would support the band by simply buying a re-issue instead. In fact, I would like to keep both the original and the latest remastered release ,for the considreatio of both the value and the sound quality. Cuz like the DCC copies of metallica , someitmes they really do have an ass kcking sound quality but of less or NO value for collecting for die-hard fans.

You can't even trade a promo for a roll of TP in a supermarket, if the staff don't like Metal they ain't gonna give a shit. lol

Buy the way, for those who's running a label or distrubution, I got a question for you. In generanl, for a rather underground band, in most cases they only got certain amout of cd copies from their record label to sell or trade for themselve other than cash payment. If they are lucky, they may get some equipment updates. But do they get any payment if say another label reissues their cds after the 1st press releases were out of print? I thought the later only purchases a liscence from the former record company other than paying the band. If this is actually happening, buying reissues wouldn't benefits the band that much other than spreading their music wider and keep it alive for longer period of time before everyone forgets about it compeltely. How about the case with more mainstream bands like assassin for instance? They definitely get paid everytime ppl re-re-...release their albums, right?

It's not a matter of me "misunderstanding you" it's a matter of me finding you to be quite the trend whore. In all honesty, save your money and buy the re-issues. At this point in time building a massive collection of first pressing CD's that are all originals from scratch is unrealistic unless you are rich.

stormy-you aren't going to be remastering the impact cd, right? you'll definitely be wasting your time/money if you do. The mix is great in the first place and nobody own's the damn cd, so there isn't going to be many people interested in rebuying the cd just for a different mix.

I don't share the general impression on Impact, the first 6 songs sound perfect (from the never released 1989 ep I guess) but the others suffer a weak sound IMHO but I don't know if it can be improved, honestly :\

AH, I'm happy I'm not alone for Bezerker, also I've talked with the singer and they already have the CD master with also the demo they did AFTER the album (which he says it's even better ) ... if only I'd have the money I would do it myself damn >_> in 2008 I could have done it, but now not anymore
