ANOTHER ONE ended early:

Maybe he traded it for some magic beans, or an autographed copy of Kenny Rogers' Christmas album
I guess from now on we should all just make offers as soon as we see something we want to bid on; turn ebay into a glorified billboard instead of an auction site

Private US Metal 7"s is the final frontier for The Girl With Everything (the Japanese/Greek/German "vinyl mafia" (sorry Peter..)). What teh completist wants teh completist gets, no matter the price ...or method.
Myself I don't think the world owes me every single half-decent Metal single out there. And I'm not so cynical I'll dub every supa'-raaahr seveninch an overrated crapfest either - I'm sure a fair amount of them are absolutely awesome! The cream will rise in one way or the other and we'll all get to enjoy them eventually. (If I had to choose, in the form of some super-ugly, d.i.y, KBD-style vinyl B O O T L E G S, but such a statement will surely have me put against the wall & shot..)

Is $800 normal for that one? High, low ... ? And $300 for Rapid Force?glockose wrote:OK, So what would you like to say?sovdat wrote:No comments on nearly $800 Paragon?
Rapid Force LP was sold for more than $300 few weeks ago (maybe the most for any Yugo metal record?? Or not?), let's watch this one:

Seems a picture was posted here but it has since been removed. The Sentinel wrote:I remember someone posting an image of that Real Steel 7" in the "Top Items" thread. I have no time now digging through that thread to see where it is.

Since you are in Sweden. I will ask you this.
In the early 90's when Swedish singles were hitting the market on lists for the first time around the world with prices in the 100-500 range. Wasn't that worse (since people had no way of looking at them or hearing them before they were purchased)?? Then US singles today in the 200-800 range. when you can see and hear it first.
sovdat wrote:Is $800 normal for that one? As far as I know this was the first time the record was ever for sale. So not easy to put a price on it. Rattlehead14 had a Pic and Sound clips so I think the bidders just used that as a Gauge and came up with that priceglockose wrote:OK, So what would you like to say?sovdat wrote:No comments on nearly $800 Paragon?

And $300 for Rapid Force? I dont know I can remember paying $10 for these back 10 years ago. I think I got 15 copies and sold them for $40 each. Rattlehead14 has a copy on right know that will be a good gauge. Since it sold for $300 last week (you said) lets see what his sells for and them we can say whats crazy or not.

So this must be a different Real Steel then the Cleveland based band? The logo and songs don't look familiar.
So John, now I'm wondering why you pulled down those pictures two days after you posted them here a couple of years back?
Trying to keep a few albums unknown?

for my luck I will never collect US metal 7"'s or NWOBHM 7"'s or Swedish 7"'s...the Japanese/Greek/German "vinyl mafia" (sorry Peter..)
So I don't count in here.

And for the "mafia" words I will have to thrash you a bit at KIT or to force you on your knees when you come to me and bring some nice 12" finds from Sweden for my collection....
