Easy one but one of my favourite songs:

Electric guitars and amplifiers
Strung stem to stern
He made a sound of monstrous power
Never before heard

His friends said he was a crazy high flyer
So they left him that day
With the sounds of guitars crying
He sailed away
Long Live The Loud !!!

yeah indeed a classic: Dark Angel. Unfortunately I knew only this. Seems like I will have to study lyrics. I have deliberately ignored many of them in the past.

Singing all day...

"You have robbed our homes and fortunes
Even drove us from our land
You tried to break our spirit
But you'll never understand
The love of dear old Ireland
That will forge and iron will
As long as there are gallant men
Like young Ned of the hill"

Roman are you there? :)

YESSSSS!!! Sooooooooo great! It is not Metal, but it surely belongs here. It belongs fucking everywhere, hahaha. It has way more balls than almost all of those "new power metal sensations" etc etc.
Oh, and on a sidenote a special thanks to ION BRITTON for finally posting a question I knew the answer to, already felt like the total n00b in here

Another unbelievable non-metal band:
"His eyes they closed
and his last breath spoke
he had seen all to be seen
a life once full
now an empty vase
wilt the blossums
on his early grave

walk away me boys
walk away me boys
and by morning we'll be free
wipe that golden tear
from your mother dear
and raise what's left
of the flag for me

then the rosary beads
count them 1 2 3
fell apart as they hit the floor
in a garb of black
we must pay respect
to the color we were born to mourn

walk away me boys
walk away me boys
and by morning we'll be free
wipe that golden tear
from your mother dear
and raise what's left
of the flag for me
"

Yes, Pogues, that's correct. I don't know if it belongs here too, but the lyrics of the song are very angry and each time i listen to it i always get a feeling similar to that when i listen to metal...

Edit: Sorry Roman, i was writing my previous post while you were sending yours!

Attacking with force
As we show no remorse
Obstructing our victims fate
The blood in the chalice
Saluting the fight
All virgins must die this night
Psychotic reaction from a serpents kiss
Is taking the life from our soul
And leading a train of destruction from hell
Finding our way through hells hole !
