And Razor and Sacrilege's Behind The Realms Of Madness belong here too.
That GASTUNK album is one of the best of Japan ever, I rank it even higher than stuff like Sabbrabells and Loudness, maybe even GISM... !?!
I like it quite much as well but this is blashemy

Then again, I'd put a Loudness record in my top 10 metal albums list.

INEPSY are the 21st century standard bearers of this style-- Rock'n'Roll Babylon is a perfect LP for anyone who likes Motorhead, Discharge, Venom, Sacrilege, NWOBHM, early Motley Crue and GBH in equal measure.

And such a godly band live! The first time I saw them was right when the first EP came out, and they played one of the best sets I've ever seen, in front of maybe 25 people, and they kept getting only better each time I saw them after that. I wasn't so it into the last record, but saw them again just a year ago and it was fantastic. Some people might complain that every song just sounds like Overkill or Bomber, but to me that's a great recommendation.

I would have thought the same thing...

if we're going with punk-metal kinda shit from 80s Japan that are not GISM:

Zouo (some totally insane vocals laden with every studio trick ever)
Ghoul (Jerusalem era)
Execute (mid-period, their early stuff is raw hardcore, their last era is like goth punk, pre-Gastunk)
G-Zet
the future language

All great shit, and I like them all the most in that order as well. The ZOUO is just insane, the delay on the vocals and the insanely fuzzy guitar tone are great!! The GHOUL has some really catchy riffs and leads too, fantastic stuff.

What about LAWNMOWER DETH? Especially the 'Billy' album, to me they sound like the perfect blend of punk & thrash, first thing that comes to mind anyway..
Why are a wise man & a wise guy opposites?
