Yes, the original piece is called Flight of the Bumblebee, but Manowar changed it to Sting of the Bumblebee because that title sounds more mighty and powerful. At least, that's my guess why they did it!

Thus proving they're sissies. I can imagine DeMaio strutting around the stage showing off his freshly bumblebee stung arm to all the fans as to prove he's a mighty warrior able to take any pain without even the slightest facial expression.

These are cute and friendly animals! (I'd like to be one - if I'd get the chance)

Attack (ger) did it as well in the song Seven Years in the Past.
One more: Vintersorg's För Kung Och Fosterland.
And also Trop Feross - Caverne Du Roi

Yes, my question regarding prominent intepretations of classical music using a heavy metal aesthetic was merely a front for what I really wanted to hear about. Perhaps a moderator could move this thread to the already well established 'Fat hairy men buggering and fondling smaller, thinner and less hairy men' thread? "I WANT ME A LITTLE PEICE OF CHICKEN!" says fatty.

The intro to Totentanz on Coroner's RIP is apparently a cover, although I haven't heard the original version.
