GRAND example of what I've lovingly come to label "DIY-Metal". Recordings like this one are best appreciated in mix-tape/cdr form imo, together with others of their kin ravaged from obscure comp LP's, demos & private 7"s. It's only after an hour of this stuff that your really start to appreciate the finer details and craftmanship of The Workin' Man's Metal...

Reminds me of my first encounters with Swedish superobscurities like Göran Nordh, GYPSY, HEAVY CARGO, THE DUKE etc...

I think it was quite enjoyable and had that particular charm of 80s obscure metal.

It sounds damn good indeed.

I was not aware of a book about us metal singles. For sure will buy one.
Any idea when it will be released?

Cool, I'm in SC. Lived in Raleigh for several years. And no, I never found any cool obscurities abound there :)

You'll need to look harder.
The BME & BMC labels were out of Cary and have at least 6 45's

Yeah, Raleigh-Carey had a few decent clubs for metal music, like The Caboose (older) and Kings Arcade (more recently). Never found any of those rare singles from Carey though; the best I ever came across was stuff like Dark Star and Satan LPs that turned up at ?Borders

There used to be 4 used record stores on that street and you never found anything?

What is there like 6-8 "Nice prices books" in the triangle

I fine records everytime I'm in town.
