GRAND example of what I've lovingly come to label "DIY-Metal". Recordings like this one are best appreciated in mix-tape/cdr form imo, together with others of their kin ravaged from obscure comp LP's, demos & private 7"s. It's only after an hour of this stuff that your really start to appreciate the finer details and craftmanship of The Workin' Man's Metal...
Reminds me of my first encounters with Swedish superobscurities like Göran Nordh, GYPSY, HEAVY CARGO, THE DUKE etc...

I'd like to know this as well. I live in NC and would like to know where to start searching
Cool, I'm in SC. Lived in Raleigh for several years. And no, I never found any cool obscurities abound there
You'll need to look harder.
The BME & BMC labels were out of Cary and have at least 6 45's
It was a winning prize from the battle of the bands in Cary
at the small amptheater only a few miles from the Raleigh fair grounds
Yeah, Raleigh-Carey had a few decent clubs for metal music, like The Caboose (older) and Kings Arcade (more recently). Never found any of those rare singles from Carey though; the best I ever came across was stuff like Dark Star and Satan LPs that turned up at ?Borders
