I have this one on vinyl. Made a rip of it and uploaded in the poisonoise section. Take it or leave it is softer but still a great melodic track. Playing with fire is AWESOME. Reminds me of mindless sinner. I got mine for cheap, like 50 euros including shipping. But it is one of the rarest swedish metal lps out there. Never seen another copy but know that a friend of mine got one for 100 euros here in Sweden. Should be worth 200euros outside of Sweden. You should totally go for it in my opinion. I love it.faster wrote:Dizziness ( Sweden) - 12"
I might have a chance to trade this, is it Metal or AOR/hard rock?
What would be a fair price?
Edit: Re-uploaded it if you wanted to hear it: http://thecorroseum.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=3295
THE DAWN OF THE MEGA-METAL
Thank you Patrik for the reply, they guy I might trade from found it last week at a fleamarket for just 5 SKR. I guess it will cost me a little bit more in trading.Dirty Rocker wrote:I have this one on vinyl. Made a rip of it and uploaded in the poisonoise section. I really like reading stuff like this, it makes you believe it could still happen to you (mind you it used to happen all the time back in the nineties). I try keep believing, even if this particular chance just passed us by.Sgt. Nice songs by the way, thanks for the upload.

I love reading stories of people finding lp's that are super rare for dirt cheap. It's happened a few times to me, I've found a few NWOBHM singles at half decent prices. The best example that stands out for me is finding a sealed copy of the Tyrants Reign mlp for $10 here in Edmonton, I kinda picked it up, blinked a few times and calmly walked up and payed for it, the whole time waiting for someone to go " hold on here, this has to be a mistake , this lp is actually $500"! If anyone has seen that IKEA commercial where the woman comes out screaming "start the car, start the car" that's the feeling I had

I kind of had that feeling today, only in reverse. I was looking at some items on ebay and noticed this listing:

normally I don't pay attention to bootlegs much on ebay, but the price is high, so I checked it, that cover looked familiar, so I went and looked on the record shelf and it turns out I bought it a couple of years back for $8, clear version! I just bought it because I didn't have it and it was cheap. I think I need to sell it now, I don't need it that bad...I did a little research and supposedly this is the first ever Metallica boot.

Two or three years ago I found Artch's For the Sake of Mankind LP at a local record fair for about 8 euros. As I already had it I told the seller he could probably get a bit more for it - so he removed it to check out the market price. I kind of feel like an criminally reversed shoplifter now. I will not repeat this sinister behaviour.
I did not do the trade as the guy liked it too much and the only thing he would like to trade from me was my Blackwater Park - Dirt Box.faster wrote:Thank you Patrik for the reply, they guy I might trade from found it last week at a fleamarket for just 5 SKR. That is funny seeing this record so high on ebay, ARGH.I kind of had that feeling today, only in reverse. I was looking at some items on ebay and noticed this listing:

I bought 5 copies of it in clear vinyl and 5 copies in multicolored vinyl back in 1989 or 1990 from the "distributor/producer" here in Germany with TONS of other bootlegs quite cheap. It was a package of about 750 pieces so it would be quite funny to have them all now back again and checking the prices, this would make a heart attack for sure...
Annoyed about myself that I did not keep at least one copy in clear or one in multi-colored for myself hence....

$300 and still 6 days to go! I saw a Metallica bootleg boxset here a few years ago for $60. I thought about buying it but I'm not a fan for bootlegs, ended up seeing it on ebay going for over $300 also, went back it was gone. Hopefully whoever bought it enjoyed it.doomedplanet wrote:I kind of had that feeling today, only in reverse. I was looking at some items on ebay and noticed this listing:
