They could have, easily.

Sorry, half of 'Into Glory Ride' is crap, lots of pointless repetition and annoying screams on there(Hatred - wtf!?).

"Hatred" is the only "Into Glory Ride" song.

What do you mean? Manowar is ok, there are some great tracks on the 1st LP, maybe 3 good ones on the 2nd, all of the 3rd is good, well except for the always shit bass wankery, and the 4th has great stuff too...then, well 'Triumph of Steel' has some good ones, otherwise they ARE overrated in the sense that you're somehow supposed to worship Manowar if you like metal, but I don't see any need to pretend to like something to better fit in. Manowar have tons of retarded lyrics, and ridiculous statements by its members, they talk about metal not being a joke, but they ARE a joke. 'Hatred' is unlistenable - what is so great about it?

This is the umpteenth time you go into a rant about how you don't feel the need to pretend to like something just to fit in. Well your point is taken and I guess I'm happy for you etc etc.

Matter of fact is I honestly like Manowar, I don't know if that makes me fit in anywhere but in any case I don't need to pretend, and to me it almost seems like you feel a need to pretend to not like certain stuff because you take pride in not fitting in.

Don't worry, I'm sure it won't be the last time either, I don't expect people to be taking notes of what I've said in the past.

I wouldn't have much of a problem if you hadn't said 'need to pretend to not like something' - quite a ridiculous thing to say, no? The reason I said it is I've heard so many people say IGR is one of the best albums ever over the years and I simply can't understand it, it's not even the best Manowar album. And no, I don't take pride in not fitting in, I enjoy the Corroseum because it's the only forum I've been on where it feels like I could get on with the majority of people and enjoy reading the stuff posted and the general atmosphere.

I'm not into men in tights either, but I don't see anything wrong with Manowar that can't be applied to most other bands in one way or another...

The riffs in early Manowar are godly. I can understand someone just not liking them, but this 'hatred' is almost un-metal like.

What hatred??? Even if I didn't like any Manowar it'd be ridiculous to go saying I'm 'un-metal' - when was the last time you contributed anything to this forum but general negativity? Anyway I don't hate Manowar, their early stuff has loads of really great songs, HTE is one of my favourite LP:s, but IGR is pretty crappy overall to me, and the 'Hatred-wtf' comment was about the song.

I beg to differ as i own "Funky Junction Plays Deep Purple", (okay, not a Lizzy album strictly), and it's pretty pitiful, but for the most part, i'd have to agree.

Besides, you're quite liberal in throwing the 'not metal enough' comment around considering you've got a bloody Thin Lizzy avatar.

You really focus on all negativity don't you. I didn't mean hatred like the word, just a loose interpretation.

And my avatar isn't bloody at all... :?
