I plump for dry ice, a graveyard set, creepy organ intro and band members appearing from inside coffins.
Some might say this is too cheesy, i say it's not cheesy enough.
to be cheesy enough we should combine different stereotypes, a viking, a priest, a robotic dude, maybe i can be the aztec warrior

the drum set can be resembling stonehenge too ha!
All of that together = SPINAL TAP

This thread lost it's metal, now we're a 'classic rock' band pretending to be heavy metal.

Classic rock is a stupid term used by non-metallers to distance themselves from real Heavy Metal - and thus used by some Heavy Metal folks to distance themself from their roots. Be it called Hard Rock or Heavy Rock. The average present day "metaller" (liking whatever new genres of supposedly Heavy music that is today's flavour) probably thinks Cirith Ungol sounds like some kind of Classic rock.

What? Me serious. To me, Deep Purple happens to belong more in the Brocas Helm circuit than in the Van Morrison one...

Exactly, so let's get serious on topic before our members get ill with it too.

Any old primate could play that guitar solo better than me:

We need a guitarist!

Edit:
Oh, and play LOUD!!!

Haha!

I wrote this song around this rhythm pattern as an experiment - to me it would ruin everything if I would have it straightened up and instead focus on the weight.

Am I sacked now? (was I ever in?)

:D

Even better, you're the lead songwriter. :D
Well, so far at least.

I downloaded the song yesterday, but I haven't listened to it yet. I'll get to it ASAP.

I guess the lyrics could be a problem with it's sissy-hippie "don't fight please will ya" message. But demanding repentence (old testament style) and threatening with impending doom may compensate the flaws a wee.
