I think what daniel and massofkthulu meant was that it's more rewarding to go nerdy about aspects of the actual music instead of pressings and prices of albums - cd OR vinyl.

That's right, the music matters more than any of that other crap.
Are you the tyrant, who cast them to the sea?
One day you'll be among the dead.

I just don't see the point in bitching about audio formats. I don't know how it is in Europe or Scandinavia, (I'd assume better) but here in mid-western Canada, coming upon somebody outside of the internet or even this forum for the most part that you can actually discuss real Metal with is quite rare. I only know ONE person in real life into the same kind of music and half the time they don't know of the bands I'm mentioning. I guess to put my point into shorter terms, those of us into this kind of music are a very small minority and bickering and arguing about something so trivial is pointless. It really doesn't matter if you listen to the material on tape, vinyl, CD, 8-track, MP3 or whatever in my opinion. We should all just be happy that there are other people out there like us to discuss it with.

Also, to add, with any sort of scene, there are always collectors, so I don’t think that discussion about pressings/CAT Numbers/Matrix Codes is really that unwarranted.

HEATHEN’S RAGE – ‘Knights of Steel’

I hear the sound of thunder, within the castle walls
When the fire burns the gates sweet hell will conquer all
I have opened the tower of stone, where the king and the queen lie dead
A thousand heads lie on the ground, upon the earth that’s red, now they’re dead

Now the time has come for us, the secrets are revealed
We take control of life and death before which I have kneeled
The air was cold and the wind is strong when the scent of victory falls
The final word is spoken now I hear the master’s call

He said my son you have done well, for you have met the tolling bell
I wish for you to take this land, on which you’ll rule at my command

Nothing can stop us for we have the power, a power we just can’t conceal
We will devour, the witching hour, for we are the great Knights of Steel

We’re the great Knights of Steel, before which you kneel.

I had been listening to this more again the last few days and then when I saw the new posts here I finally got down to working them out. I played it in MP3 form instead so I could just repeat certain passages, and fiddled with the equaliser so as to make the vocals as clear as possible, and there you have it. I tried doing this with the Tantrum song too but didn't really help, some things are clearer, but I still can't make out what is being said because it doesn't seem to make sense.
Cheers for this. I was always wondering what the hell he was singing about. If someone could dissect the last song :P I begin:

Stuck with a few lines:

Dark Storm

As the storm explodes in the sky, the rain falls below
And the wind it whispers a lie as the scene of darkness comes
It seems judgement day has called us, the voice of blackened fear
A holocaust, cast upon us, it’s drawing ever near

The sound of destruction is coming, oh look and see
The tolling bell, death is surrounding, here with me!

…. …. …. so long to see
It shouldn’t have taken the time that it had to foresee
A nuclear war is surrounding us all don’t wait
Sooner or later you’re hearing the call too late, far too late

…. …. …. … …. ….. ….
…. …. … …. …. …. …. …
You don’t know what you were thinking, or to say
You ? this evil land, today
Are you the tyrant, who cast them to the sea?
One day you'll be among the dead.

Oh and for 'Out On the Streets', yes you're right, it's 'all the looks are deceiving'
Are you the tyrant, who cast them to the sea?
One day you'll be among the dead.

I'll give the song a spin this evening. Haven't heard it in quite some time. Great work revealing the lyrics. Dark Storm is my favourite song from the MLP.
