Finally giving some (deserved) time for Voie De Fait - Ange Ou Demon. What can I say? It's on it's way to be one of my favourite albums from the french scene. I love all the little details and audible bass in the mix. They play with melodies in a way that makes me think of early Iron Maiden a little bit. Non Coupable and the title track are my favourite songs on this album at the moment.

So, that means it's a bootleg? Or just that a crap label released it?, I really like that album, it would be great to get a copy, how much you paid for it?The Knell wrote:Demoniac : Touch The Wind Tape
cool stuff but the tape was indeed mastered from a vg vinyl with at least one skip. what bullshit !
Now Listening:
HEATHEN - VICTIMS OF DECEPTION
It's original from Explosive Records 1992 with pro cover and pro labelled tape, no way it's a bootleg. The label just made a pretty bad job on the sound of this tape. There is one skip which is annoying and some light surface noise in the background from time to time, it's pretty obviously a vinyl master. Regardless of that it's ok for listening except the one skip. I just dont understand why you would do that? Who knows, maybe the master tape was destroyed after the vinyl was pressed and they took an used vinyl for the tapes.Chafe wrote:So, that means it's a bootleg? I got this tape and Annathema Dont Go Down tape against KAT metal&hell 1991 metal mind tape & Nuctemeron (US) original demo tape . OK deal I think.
btw both were listed for 7€ each but I couldnt afford to buy them. I guess the tape is like most ex yugo albums cheaper to get than the fragile vinyl versions

Now here's a funny quote from MA review on The Unknown:
"If you heard the Black Writs EP from 1983 (who am I kidding, most likely no one has), the first thing you’ll say is “HOLY SHIT THEY GOT RID OF THAT AWFUL SINGER.” Yes, the bland, bored-sounding Ola Ohlsson was out on his ass, as far as I know never to sing again. Sure he hit the notes, but with about as much enthusiasm as a eunuch shows a snatch. For those of you who haven’t had the misfortune of hearing the wet-paper-bag that is Ohlsson, he completely ruins Black Writs, which otherwise might have been much better. "
