A big thanks to Rob & Ole who came up with the goods, the Darryl Johnston response article is the stuff of legends, I'm interviewing a member of Shy at the moment, so it's a great talking point.

Guys I'm shooting an interview this Friday with Graeme Hutchinson bass player with Ebony bands Holland/Hammer. He also managed a lot of the bands dealings with Ebony so it should be a great interview.

Anyone have any questions they would like me to ask then please get in touch.

No direct questions, but please forward my thanks to him for the awesome "Contract With Hell" album, one of my all-time melodic nwobhm favourites. :D

Granted Contract with Hell is among my all-time favourite melodic metal albums, I wonder if he/they still have the lyrics and if there's any chance sharing them on the internet. Nothing more to ask. "Across the line" reigns supreme.

No problem, he told me he still has everything from the Ebony days.

Haha, many an afterparty have ended with yours truly putting on the above mentioned song on the record player, while totally ignoring the confused stares from some of my less metallic friends.

I watched the videos but have a hard time understanding what you are saying at times because your accent is so think. Either way, not my area of expertise, so I'm afraid I can't help you any. I can also see why this would be difficult because a lot of the band names are quite generic/used by multiple bands so it's hard to tell what's what.

I never knew my accent was think??

My accent is terrible granted, maybe I could use subtitles hehe. Anyways it's just a way of dragging in more infomation. I have virtually nothing on the label.

any news on your video?

Hey, by the way, I'm sorting through some of my shit and I found a record I had lost in my collection. I knew I had it, had just forgotten the name of the band so I was waiting to find it. I've had this record for a long time, got it from glockose back in the 90's. It is just a rock/pop type lp and I just kept it for some strange reason.

It's a different, older Ebony Records. I've come across some of their releases when researching for the Ebony-page.
