When I first read the title of this thread I thought that this would be about King Fowley...

Wasn't this already posted here?

Or was that on another forum?

Anyways, I have a feeling that some of us will be the same way down the road...

I've seen it before too...

Anyways, this reminds me of a Swedish commercial they used to run on the telly a few years ago. It was set in a not-so-distant future at an elderly retirement home, where a really ancient man asks some of the other oldtimers if they should listen to some of that good old music from back in the day.

And they put on Slayer (or some other similar band, can't remember), and everybody starts headbanging. The commercial was for some form of retirement plan.

Anyway, when I watched it, it struck me; "Damn, that's probably going to be me in 60 years".

She was a iconic person in the Madrid Metal scene in the early 80s.

DIO is almost 70 years old... Heavy Metal is not a novelty anymore. Heck, I'll be 40 in September and I wasn't even born when Black Sabbath started their journey...

Maybe in the 80s it would have been a surprise to see such old dude enjoying those vinyls, but not today. Good for the dude though, cheers!

Hats off!

If things won't go awry wrong this may be a part of our future as well! Cheers to that!
