@ Anthares : Uhhm, can be. Nabel and his friends (and maybe you?) had put up their tents just a few meters behind ours.

Well, Nabels tent was a bit far from rest of us finns. I remember couple of hardcore belgians as a neighbours.

Anyone has pics from there?

Yes yes yes Anthares!!! I was one of the hardcore Belgians hahaha!!! I'm the one with the old Extreme Noise Terror-shirt. We went off together to see the Lord Vicar-show. You also promised me to send a few mp3's of Junnu Vainio. I only forgot to give you my e-mail address. Aaaahhh...to much on my mind on a festival... We left early sunday morning, as we had a long drive back home (700 kms). You were really great neighbours!

Tomorrow Alcatraz Metal Festival in Deinze, Belgium!! Saxon, Testament, Onslaught, Killer, Helstar, Ross The Boss and Agent Steel...can't go wrong methinks... The weather forecasts are great, I don't have to drive (Andreas does!), and all of my metalhead friends will be there. This one's going to be decadent!!!

Tonight i go to see Hard Rockers called Lie Detectors, and i'm going to see a punk band from Italy tomorrow called Teenage Gluesniffers. Love their name, hopefully i'll love their music too.
I know, i know, they're a bit off-topic, but i see live bands so seldomly that i had to show off when it's two gigs over one weekend. Not done that for at least 10 years!

Alcatraz Metal Festival was great, as expected! Great performances by Agent Steel, Helstar, Testament, Onslaught and Saxon!! Lots of friends, lots of beer, lots of sun, lots of decadence, lots of interesting conversations (a.o. with an ex-roadie of Acid!)...just lots of fun fun fun to put it short.
Apparently, Agent Steel is playing a last minute gig tomorrow in a small bar 15 kms from where I live. Aaaahhhh...the madness never ends!!!

Agent Steel and Whiplash in Oslo on thursday. Curious to see what those bands are like nowadays. Haven't seen any of them this decade.

Lama! How was Agent Steel? Great? Did they play shitloads of old stuff?

Next I'm gonna see them and Asphyx, Voivod, Whiplash, Electric Wizard, Spiritus Mortis, Atheist, Artillery, Hail Of Bullets, Nifelheim etc next weekend in Jalometalli (festival).
