First two tracks rip, especially the opening "The dark castle"- what a hymn! Great mixture of MANOWAR with a bit of early SAVATAGE.

Hey this is not bad! The 1st track kicks arse. Although when I visited their myspace page my ears where met with the bland sounds of watered down modern "power/thrash" metal. What is Wicked Ways like?! The cover art looks cool.

Not bad, not bad at all! Can tell it has a more late eighties sound, but the songs retain plenty of melody and hooks to keep it from wandering into thrash territory. Some impressive screams

Yeah the end of 'Dark Castle' is pretty reminiscent of Heathens Rage heh :)

yes, i have cd, and to me it's quite disaponiting to demo...
sounds like heavyer Motley crue... but Killing time cd is way better,
more modern power/thrash, i like it.

So there's no music on the Album releases that matches this demo?! Well that's a shame.

It looks like this band actually put out a lot of stuff if MA is accurate. Anyone familiar with the rest of their catalog? Definitely like this demo

Conquest(US) - Demo 1988

Post by Speedeceiver »

Here's a rip of an demo tape i used to have by a band called Conquest. I found this at a local record store a few years ago and bought it as a blind purchase. A dirty piece of speedy power metal with the standard classic 80s riff style.

A really promising and great demo from a band that became really boring.
