I don't drive or even cycle, so this is a bit tricky for me to answer. :lol:
I do however pound the pavement of late with my old cassette personal stereo set to stun (as my mp3 player died on me), and my current favourites are :

HOOKERS - Black Visions Of Crimson Wisdom
WARRIOR SOUL - The Space Age Playboys
PAW - Dragline
VARIOUS - Pimp Shit (A funk compilation)
VOIVOD - Angel Rat
DUB WAR - Pain
SOUNDGARDEN - Louder Than Love
NEIL YOUNG - Weld
FU MANCHU - The Action Is Go
BAD BRAINS - The Quickness

I don't have a cd player in my car 8)

Well my fav car albums are;

- Uriah Heep's Sea of light
- Hawkwind's Levitation
- Ozzy's Bark At The Moon and The Ultimate Sin (a and b side :D )
- And some prog albums, camel and yes compilation I made)

and some Turkish bands' albums;

- Dr. Skull's first two
- Pentagram's Trail blazer
- Mozaik (Turkish prog)

My wife don't like metal so we play some stuff she likes also that aren't the subject of this topic...

And nowadays play mp3 with a casette equipment and I listen to NWOBHM hits loud (!) when I'm alone in the car...

Mostly self made compilation - esp punk and nwobhm; anything one can sing along with. Though Aerosmith's Gems and KD's Them has had a lot of high rotation recently.
You want it to be one way. But it's the other way.
