STEEL VENGEANCE

Post by anthares »

What you guys think about this Black Dragon labels band? I just love their Prisoner album and the others are great as well. Some Vince Neil sound on vocals.
I am also wondering if anyone has any more info on these 777 guys? Never seen interviews or anything? Anyone seen something in old zines?

Also sell me their single thank you!!!

Amen!

Yeah, Prisoners was a pretty good album, but sadly it's the only one i really like from their discography. "Till tomorrow" is such a tremendous track.
However, i have bought all their LPs, i just couldn't resist at Larnoy's superb paintings.

Great band.

I'll pat whoever finally issues the first four full-length's on CD's for the first time on the back if that ever happens :(

Argh, "Night Turns to Day" from Call of The Dogs is one hell of a album opener! I just love drumming on that one.
I only have first two albums, better than average hard rocking "sunday metal" to your hangovers.

(I bought those albums without listening to them first = because of the superb artwork.)

Band #3094572 that I've listened to once or twice in the past and quickly filed under "mediocre - don't buy!"

So "Prisoners" is the album I should check out if I wanna give them a 2nd chance then?

My first thought was: a boring band with annoying vocals and uninspired (or dumb) song writing. Got to give them another chance soon, though. I've got their five albums at home (the first four on vinyl and the last one on cd - were they ever released any other way?).

And that would be a good thing?

It's the best of an OK bunch, I think they're generic but go down well with a few beers on a chilled out Saturday night. The vampire on the cover of "Prisoners" is from Hammer's The Twins of Evil.

I only have the Second Offense album and I think it's rather mediocre.

'Prisoners' is the best, and great, don't think much of the rest, not enough mystery, nor power.

I got "Call Of The Dogs" on vinyl and like that record very much especially the killertrack "Night Turns to Day". Great reminder, will spin this one tonight. The record has some killer artwork too. I'm not familiar with the rest of their discography but will check out for sure.

I always thought they were underrated. Not the best band but not mediocre by any means. I have an extra copy of their single available for trade but unfortunately I want some equally rare US metal single I need in exchange for it so it will probably stay in my collection. Has anyone seen a mint copy of the picture sleeve for this single? Of the 5 copies I know of I don't know of any perfect copy..

Prisoners is cool and the track "Burned Out" is a metal classic. The title track is a ripper as well...........
